Description
This action image is my friend’s boat gliding out to sea by Old Harry Rocks.
Old Harry Rocks sit on the Isle of Purbeck, northeast of Swanage and east of Studland, and define the most eastern point of the Jurassic Coast. They are chalk pillars (with a stump and a stack). Formerly part of a long area of chalk, the coastal elements turned this into caves, then arches, then pillars.
Catching all the elements of this beauty was great. The epic background with contrasting and complementary colours shows her off in action with the surf full of movement. A joy to draw and ‘wow’ piece to display.
