This print is of this very friendly, rather handsome mallard duck!
I love animals with a character and this boy certainly did! On a walk alongside the River Avon from Christchurch Priory and Norman castle ruins down to Christchurch Quay, you are spoilt with the lovely things to admire. My friend and I ambled down here on a pretty Spring day, sharing stories and admiring the nature, swans, flora and fauna. We came across six little ducks in a line, all taking a stand-up nap on the path – except one! He came over with a friendly ‘quack.’ So handsome and such a confident boy his image needed sharing. It conjures up days like this, watching the ducks and the swans with friends and family, taking time out to enjoy!
