This print is another beautiful sunset across Christchurch Harbour from Mudeford Huts.
This natural harbour, formed at the end of the Ice Age, is where the Rivers Avon and Stour marry up. It is surrounded by Stanpit Marsh (Nature Reserve), Wick Fields, Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Spit with its glorious sandy beach and famous beach huts. Plenty of protected wildlife, birds and animals. Many sailing boats flowing in and out of the harbour. At sunset all is calm as the boats bob and snooze on the waters.
The colours were stunning. So bright, popping out of the sky! A happy boat below, well anchored; the only drifting was into a well-earned nap. Wonderful, epic, beautiful. Sometimes no words; the image speaks for itself. A beautiful addition to any home.
